Q : After i have upgraded in to latest version of OpenX, i couldn’t generate Invocation code and HTML  type banners.Invocation code  selection box having empty screen and banner edit page having “extension has been disabled” issue.

A : After Upgraded our OpenX into latest version we may received below mentioned issue.

  • Banner extension has been disabled : Whenever you have edit or create banners in our  OpenX , We may receive “This banner is read-only because an extension has been disabled.”

Solution : The reason behind this issue was plugin “openXBannerTypes1.0.1” was not installed or disabled in our OpenX . We need to enable this plugin by switch to admin account then click on “Plugin” menu, there you can enable that plugin if that was disable in our OpenX, else you need to install that plugin from that page. You can find this plugin in our “OpenX/etc/plugins/openXBannerTypes.zip” .

Solution : The reason behind this issue was plugin “openXInvocationTags1.0.9” was not installed or disabled in our OpenX . We need to enable this plugin by switch to admin account then click on “Plugin” menu, there you can enable that plugin if that was disable in our OpenX, else you need to install that plugin from that page. You can find this plugin in our “OpenX/etc/plugins/openXInvocationTags.zip” .
